Test to Release

with Certificate

Guaranteed results within 48 hours

Reduce your quarantine period when entering the UK from a country not on the travel corridor with our UK GOV authorized COVID-19 test to release.

Under the Test to Release for International Travel scheme, people travelling to England who need to self-isolate will be able to take a COVID test with a private test provider to check if they can end their quarantine period early. This is a throat and nasal swab test and is processed in a UKAS accredited laboratory to approved standards.

How the government scheme works

Arrival

Anyone who arrives in England from outside the UK, Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man needs to self-isolate for 10 days.

COVID-19 Test

Under the scheme, you can choose to pay for a private COVID-19 test. If the result is negative, you can stop self-isolating.

5 days

You cannot take a test until you have been in England for 5 full days.

Voluntary

The scheme is voluntary and applies to those self-isolating in England only.
